Fire Prevention

The Cedar Grove Fire Department is a member of the Sheboygan County Dive Support Team.

  • Sheboygan County covers 514 sq. miles with 72 inland lakes, covering 2111 acres and has 5 rivers.
  • Sheboygan County also encompasses 775 sq miles of Lake Michigan.
  • Originally, the Sheboygan Police Department and Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department had separate dive teams.  In 2000 these two teams were combined in an effort to provide better service and cost savings to taxpayers.
  • In 2014, the name of the dive team was changed to the MABAS Division 113 Dive Team.  The name change reflects the evolution of the team from a Law Enforcement based dive team to an inclusive team that is made up of Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS and Dept of Corrections.
  • In the event of a call, our department would respond along with City of Sheboygan Fire Dept., Kohler Fire Dept., City of Sheboygan Falls Fire Dept., Town of Sheboygan Falls Fire Dept. and Plymouth Fire Dept. Ambulance.
